This was a fun project :) The old deck was falling apart and much too small. We had to think of a way to enlarge the deck and maintain privacy. We came up with the idea of building a main upper deck with a privacy fence, and a mini deck that would allow you to come down onto the yard without redoing the straight down stairs as was previously installed. While this does not actually save any space per square foot, it does allow the rest of the yard to be enlarged. Take a look at what we did :)

A friend of mine runs a elderly home. The bathroom was a real disaster, we had to totally gut it and rebuild it. The photo's in this section, are not that great because I forgot my regular cam and took these with a cell cam. I also did not include the before photo's because I'm sure you can already imagine the bad condition already - so it's not necessary. Here's what we did :)

Painting A Small Office .... A friend of mine just moved her small office from a second floor location to this new location. As you can see, the walls needed a little prep and plaster work, before we can apply the paint.

Reinforcing A Basement With Cement .... A friend of mine had her basement inspected because of what looked like possible water damage to the walls of her just recently purchased home. The inspector told her that the dark spots along the floor of her foundation was not leaking, but because her basement is below ground level - he suggested that we reinforce the walls above the floor - 24 inches high and 2 inches thick of cement.

A hole in the ceiling (2X3 feet), caused by water damage, needed to be closed up. A plumber already had fixed the leak. What we did, was make the hole alittle bigger to expose the beams required to hold our drywall up. We then reinforced the ceiling to make sure there would be no sagging once we've completed the repair. This was a typical repair, the only thing that made it a little harder was the incredible light fixture that was located directly next to the hole. As you can see, there is almost no possible way to cover this fixture, so we just have to be extra careful. The other thing that was out of the ordinary, was the ceiling was actually double drywall (usually only single), this must have been done to act as a better firewall shield, and a noise reduction shield. Three hours later, we were done. All that's left to do after drying, is a light wet sand before painting :)

There was a little pressure on me. My friends condo above still was not sold, but the person that did look at it before, was coming for another look - In 2 Days! The condo was in pretty good shape to begin with, asides from some nail holes from photos, and a few other bumps and bruises ... and a few of the door frames were chewed by her nasty little dog. All it needed was 2 coats of fresh paint and a good clean up. The ceilings are ceiling flat white, the walls are off white, and the trim is super white semi gloss. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my crappy cam/phone with me to show you the before photos due to the big rush. Good News! Last reported - The condo was Sold! :)

This project was a Biggy! The project consisted of 1st removing the moldy carpeting, exposing the cracks in the basement floor to find the cause of the floors raise in certain areas. Then, we had to fix the problems. This required smashing the cement floor where the cracks are, creating a Sub Pump drain and then re-cementing the holes we created. We did this by hand! With a Sledge Hammer! - Next time we are using a Jack Hammer - This was Tough!

I had to remove the old cracking ugly vinyl from my friends Baie D'Urfe home entryway. She wanted ceramic tiles installed instead. Before I could do that, I had to prep a little first. Once the vinyl was removed, I had to cement glaze the sticky glue tar and even everything up.

As we are helping our friend redo his home in St. Leonard, his wife really did not like the exposed cable and phone wires in the family room. So, before we painted this room, we had to remove the floor boards and make a slot in the walls to conceal the wiring. After this was done, we proceeded to finish off the rest of the painting project. Take a look at how we did it :)
