| Basement renovations are one of my favorite projects. We almost always start with an empty slate and create a new section to a home that never existed. Bedrooms, offices, playroom and laundry rooms are the norm when redoing a basement. Many people want that extra bathroom that they have always dreamed about installed down here. A refinished basement, or the new word - Man Cave - adds extra value to your home and also gives you much more space, that you only once used for forgotten storage.
With properly insulated walls and ceilings, the home theater is a natural fit in the basement. The kids, ( men included ) can now have the playroom that will be the envy of all their friends. Use your imagination as the possiblities in renovating a basement, are endless.
