Mabel and Julio's Completed NDG Bathroom :)
My buddies Mabel and Julio set us up for a real challenge :P Basically, our project was to tear down an existing bathroom made in 1910 and rebuild & enlarge the bathroom - making this bathroom one of the biggest in Ndg.
Like your typical Ndg bathroom - this was small and built like an old bomb shelter. The demolition was a rough one. We also used the closet from the master bedroom - to be used to reposition the toilet and make the room about 3 feet larger. The entryway into the bathroom - was also extended an additional 3 feet and matched with the existing hallway.
Now that we are done - you'll notice that the old entryway looks like it has never existed. We used the same framing and old beautiful oak doors to complete the project. ( as seen in photo NDG 31 ) The closet we used from the master badroom - has also vanished. ( as seen in photo NDG 04 )
As for the bathroom itself - lol - I'll let the photo's do the talking. I personally think a Big Screen TV in front of the toilet would be perfect - Julio kind of likes the idea as well - but Mabel wants no part of it :) Think about it .... Watching a hockey game while sitting on the throne and reading the Gazette all at the same time - I like it :) Please picture this using Ray - while he has on his new cowboy hat and cowboy boots - sitting there lol
Now - All we have left to do - is wait for the shower door to come in. Once we install this - all that's left to do is quality testing :) I'll bring the Cashmere Double Quilted Rolls and Ray will bring the shower caps and rubber ducks.
