The old walls and floors are held together using old school cement, wire metal mesh, three inches of plaster, and hard as rock porcelain tiles. Removing this required a slege hammer and some carefull banging. Sledging too hard would have easily cracked other wall's in the other rooms - also made of plaster - but we got the demolition done in two days.
