Parquet Removed
You can see the original floor has been removed. The under floor is old, but still in good shape. I won't have to redo it from scratch.
Sub-Floor Added
I already know, I'm going to redo all of Sophie's floors, so I secure her main under floor and add another sheet of plywood as a new floor. Basically, I'm making her old floor even stronger and adding another layer of insulation and noise reduction to what she already had. Why not, the floor is already open.
Edges Sealed
The floor filler I added, was to make sure no build up of water got past my tile finish in the end. I also wanted to make sure there was no weak spots in my floor before doing the tiles. I'm thinking ahead for issue's such as winter snow and slush. I don't want nothing cracking later on.
Tiles Installed
The tiles are added. Sophie's a happy camper :) |
